Mentoring
Teaching yoga has so much beauty within it.
We can spend days creating sequences to uplift or soothe, hours listening for the perfect track to open our class, weeks reading books to enrich our learning, carefully learning the latest anatomy research; and I've only scratched the surface here of the things we spend our time on once we become a yoga teacher.
It has been said that Yoga is a light which once lit, never dims.
Yet our way of life can be at odds with a more yogic way of living.
This is where a mentorship can reignite the flame of yoga in our hearts. Gathering with others who are equally committed to enrich and enliven their teaching brings us home to yoga and to how we want to teach it.
This mentorship is for you if you are already a yoga teacher; you may feel stuck in your teaching, you might want to create something beautiful to offer, perhaps you're looking for a way to deepen your own self practice (even start or reconnect to a self practice). Perhaps you wonder if you need another teacher training, when it might just be some further more personal support would be of benefit. For some of us (myself included at the start) teaching can be nerve wracking and you feel you need help working through the overwhelm.
There is no one reason that yoga teachers may want a mentorship. Here is what you will experience in a 4 week group:
- 3 hour weekly gathering for a practice, theory, theming and question / discussion.
- weekly research and homework.
- Connecting to you, self care.
- Voice work.
- Managing your students.
- Teaching authentically with joy.
- Connecting to your true heart, your mystic self.
- a one to one session with me
- Optional weekly online Zoom group catch up - 45mins.
All sessions will be in person in Lancing, Sussex in my home studio. You can also join the programme online. Each session will be recorded and available for six months after the course closes.
