Celebrating Litha on The Summer Solstice 2025 & Our Studio’s 2 yr Birthday Party 

 

I would love for you to join me in yoga and party celebrations for Midsummer on Saturday 21st July.

 

9-11am - Transformational Breathwork and Yoga

11 - 1pm - Garden Party & Altar Decoration

The Summer Solstice is full of excitement as we reach the highest point of solar energy in the earth’s 365 day cycle around the sun.

 

Time seems to expand, the sun’s golden energy illuminates our lives as midsummer  arrives.  We invoke the blessings of the Faerie Queen Aine at Midsummer.  The Faeirie Queen is a  goddess in her own right, her gifts are sovereignty, beauty, abundance, fertility and wealth.

  

Your ceremony will begin as the sunlight enters the space with a 2 hour yoga practice of transformational breathwork, yin yoga and a warming vinyasa practice.

  

After your morning yoga we will break to have refreshments, snacks and gather in the garden.

 

We will create an outdoor altar together in the garden, a sanctuary for meditative moments and dreaming; these moments are sacred time and so we will invoke the guides and guardians of the space to work with us protecting our studio, protecting each other and giving our thanks and offerings for their continued guidance and support. The altar will remain year round and will be something for all students to connect with before and after any classes, providing a space for peace and meditation for all.  We can paint pebbles, plant flowers or herbs, give offerings to the Fairie Queen Aine, decorate with shells, statues or goddess images ... all items will be made of natural materials.

 ​

As always, bring anything you'd like to add to the separate altar that will be inside, to charge it with the energy of the ceremony; keepsakes, photos, jewellery, crystals - anything of symbolic value to you personally is welcome.

PS: This ceremony will be taking place at the normally scheduled time of the Saturday morning Rocket class.  For those who attend Rocket at this time please be aware of the changes to your morning and I will contact you directly.
