Service Description

Dynamic in style and one of the most playful methods of practicing yoga, the Rocket was created by Larry Shulz and named by Bobby Weir of the Grateful Dead. Based on the system of Ashtanga, the Rocket brings in the arm balances and inversions of the later series. Always practiced with music and so named ‘because it gets you there faster,’ the philosophy of the Rocket is that each student gets to know their own body’s abilities, leading to a greater awareness of their own self. A truly open level and accessible practice for all, the key teachings are to just try and see what your body can do and that falling (safely!) means you are working hard - there is a lot of laughter in this class!
